Our doctors are all highly-trained Vocationally Registered medical practitioners registered with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA). We work together as a team.

Our doctors are surrounded by a dedicated health care team -- which is there to help and make the extraordinarily specialized task of providing genuine care look easy at times.

Dr. Anusha Pandithaskera
MBBS, FRACGP, DCH

Dr Anusha obtained her Specialist Qualifications from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has a Diploma in Paediatric Medicine from the University of Sydney.

Dr Anusha has been living and practicing in Cairns for over 10 years. 

Special Interests: Coal Board & Mines and Quarries EMO, Paediatrics, Women's Health

Dr. Thomas Koeck
M.D, DTM&H, FRACGP

Dr Koeck was born and raised in Vienna, Austria where he also finished his medical training as a GP. After having worked in West Africa and England, he moved to QLD in 2007.

He has a special interest in infectious diseases, skin conditions and Medicine in the tropics. Dr Koeck also has a Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery and Medicine (SCCA), Dermatoscopy (SCCANZ) and Dermatology (Australian Institute of Dermatology)

Dr. Wai Thinn
FRACGP

Dr Wai Thinn has been practicing in Cairns for 4 years, after beginning her training at University of Medicine in Yangon. 

Special Interests: Women's Health, Chronic Disease Management, Children's Health & Palliative care

Dr. Yuan Ow Yeang
 
Dr of Medicine, FRACGP

Dr Ow Yeang is a General Practitioner with a wide range of skills and knowledge. After more than 26 years of practice, he has not lost his passion in caring for his patients in all stages of their lives and believes in a holistic approach. Dr Ow Yeang has been living in Cairns with his family for more than 11 years and considers this beautiful tropical paradise his families home. Dr Ow Yeang also enjoys being involved in the training of medical students. 

Special Interests: Family Medicine, Chronic Disease and Skin Cancer Management

Dr. Kim Manning

BSC, MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Manning studied a Bachelor of Science majoring in cellular and biochemical biology at Charles Darwin University and worked as a Medical Scientist for eight years prior to moving to Adelaide to study Medicine at Flinders University.

Dr Manning has worked at the Royal Darwin Hospital and Wurli-Wurlinjang Aboriginal Health Service before coming to Cairns, where he has been a GP since 2018.

Dr. Lauren Konecny
MBBS

Dr Konecny has recently moved from Adelaide to Cairns to complete her RACGP Fellowship training. 

Dr Lauren has a MD from Flinders University and is completing her Fellowship through GMT with James Cook University.


Dr Rinku Cherian
MBBS

Dr Cherian has over 10 years experience working both overseas and Australia.
