We are a Mixed Billing Practice

1. We Privately Bill

• Patients who do not have a valid Medicare Card.
• Patients with work-related injuries or insurance claim consultations unless there is a guarantee of payment from the insurer, or we have a valid approved Work Cover claim number, or alternate arrangements to work with. 
• Special arrangements, which include paying a Gap-Fee only, apply to patients with Allianz or BUPA Insurance.
• Patients over 16 years who do not hold a current concession card (with Medicare rebates processed on the day through our software)
• Patients booked for Specialty Consultations (eligible rebates processed on the day through our software)

We accept EFTPOS, Visa, or MasterCard when payment is required. This can be processed via our Payments System in HOTDOCS, or at reception. A small surcharge for EFTPOS transactions applies.

2. Bulk Bill

Patients eligible for Bulk Billed services include:

• Children under 16 years with a valid Medicare Card.
• Current Concession Card holders.

Please note, a Medicare rebate must apply to the service we provide to be Bulk Billed. If you would like to clarify if your required service is bulk billed, please ask reception.

To maximize your access to subsidized medications and services, please provide us with a copy of your current Pensioner or Health Care Card (if you have got one).

3. Fees

For Private billing patients, as stated above, common fees include:

Standard Consultation   $88.00

Long Consultation: $134.00

After Hours Standard Consultation: $120.00

Medicinal Cannabis Initial Assessment: $150.00

Medicinal Cannabis Follow Up: $95.00

Skin Cancer Checks: $95.00

Procedural appointments will incur additional fees, depending on the type of procedure required: (including but not limited to)

• Biopsy & Short Procedure: $50.00
• Skin Cancer Excisions, Implanon Insertion & Removal, IUD Insertion & Removal, Iron Infusions & Venesections: $100.00
• Skin Excisions requiring Flap Repair: $150.00
• Skin Excisions requiring Skin Grafting: $200.00

Insurance or Medico-legal Paperwork Reporting: $198.00

4. Missed Appointment and Cancellation Policy

Failure to give notice or arriving 5 or more minutes late for an appointment will now incur a fee with no Medicare rebate payable.

Please give the minimum notice stated below to avoid a cancellation fee of $40.

• Doctors Appointments - 2 Hours
• Allied Health - 24 Hours

Failure to give notice for psychologist appointments will incur the full appointment fee of $200.

This fee is payable prior to booking any further appointments effective 29/08/2023.
