Born and raised in Canada obtaining a Bachelor of Nursing in 2014, then earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2021 followed by her Specialty in Family Medicine (GP), Dr Pozzolo has worked in general family medicine as well as urgent care and emergency room settings.

Her interests include young families, chronic disease management, obesity management, cross-cultural learning, skin lesions / procedures, urgent / emergency care. 

Recently moved to Cairns with her husband and 4 children, fulfilling a longstanding dream of escaping the harsh Canadian winters! Outside of work enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and horse.
